Interpersonal Solidarity Scale

Knowledge

The Interpersonal Solidarity Scale measures perceived closeness to a specified other person, preserving each respondent’s perspective rather than assuming shared relationship quality. Its 1976 nine-item measure and 1978 twenty-item expansion require distinct identification, and neither closeness nor aggregated dyadic scores establish disclosure, trustworthiness, healthy relationships, or team cohesion.
