Programs · By field
Eight fields. One case may need several.
A program is not a field taught. It is what the case needs from one field or several — and the diagnosis decides which.
A field identifies the body of knowledge brought to a problem. It does not determine the intervention before the problem has been diagnosed.
01
Communication
Where the message, the channel and the decision lose each other.
Not simply how people speak or write, but what happens to meaning as it moves between people, media, roles and decisions.
02
Change
Why change stalls between the plan and the people who have to carry it.
Change is not achieved because an initiative has been announced. The question is what must move — and what prevents that movement.
03
Coordination & Friction
Where interdependence has to become coordinated action — and where roles, dependencies and structures create friction.
People can communicate clearly and still be unable to work together. Coordination concerns the architecture of interdependent action.
04
Human Agency
Who can act — and who is recognized as acting.
Responsibility requires more than expectation. Agency concerns the actual capacity and recognized freedom to initiate, decide and answer for action.
05
Productivity & Effectiveness
The agent’s resources — attention, energy, focus — and where they leak.
Not productivity as permanent acceleration, but the disciplined use of finite human resources toward work that matters.
06
Leadership
What a leadership role has to decide, carry and hand on.
Leadership is examined as responsibility in a role: direction, boundaries, decision, accountability and the conditions created for others to act.
07
Human Reasoning
How the decision is reasoned, and where the reasoning breaks.
How questions are framed, assumptions tested, evidence interpreted, alternatives distinguished and conclusions reached.
08
Human Learning
The base of every program: how adults learn, and how it reaches the work.
Training has little value if understanding never becomes usable capability — or if the environment makes that capability impossible to sustain.
An entry point, not a box
Why the fields are kept distinct — and why they combine.
A coordination failure may present as communication. A reasoning failure may be interpreted as leadership. A structural constraint may be called low motivation. A learning problem may actually be an environment that punishes the behavior the program is trying to build.
From diagnosis to results
The case decides which knowledge belongs in the room.
Bring the case. The diagnosis decides which fields the program draws on.
