Programs · Train the Trainer
Capacity built in house. Value that keeps adding.
A program is not a field taught. It is what the case needs from one field or several — and the diagnosis decides which.
External training can create movement. Internal capability is what allows an organization to continue without permanent external dependence. For selected programs, the work is transferred to internal trainers, facilitators and development professionals.
Content is the easy part
What is transferred is judgment.
A facilitator can know every slide and still use the program badly. The harder capability is knowing:
01
When an exercise belongs
— and when it does not.
02
What the room is saying
What the response in the room actually means.
03
When to pursue, when to stop
Which line of inquiry to follow, and when to let it go.
04
What adapts, what stays
What can be adapted to the group — and what must remain intact.
05
When the problem has changed
When the problem in front of the facilitator is no longer the one the program was built to address.
Facilitation is not recitation
Fidelity without becoming mechanical
Internal facilitators understand the purpose behind what they do, not merely the sequence of activities: the language of the program, its boundaries, its logic, its conditions of application — and the limits beyond which another intervention is required.
Transfer fits the organization
Scope and boundaries come first
Built around a specific program, a defined field or an internal learning capability. Some material is transferred openly, some requires supervised use, some remains proprietary — defined before the transfer begins.
Independence, not abandonment
The work continues from inside
Observation, practice, calibration and supervised delivery, as the engagement requires — and each group the trainers take it to adds to the capacity the organization keeps.
From diagnosis to results
What should your organization be able to carry on its own?
Name the program, the field or the capability — and who would carry it.
