Programs · In the discipline
Learn the architecture behind the interventions.
A program is not a field taught. It is what the case needs from one field or several — and the diagnosis decides which.
A program addresses a problem. A discipline determines how the problem is read before the program is chosen. The work on this site sits within HFSAI — Human Fractal Systemic Architecture and Intervention · Research & Application. Development can move from training through the discipline to training in the discipline.
The first task is discrimination
A visible symptom is not yet the problem
What looks like resistance may be incapacity. What looks like incapacity may be missing knowledge. What looks personal may be structural. What looks organizational may originate outside the organization. Intervention begins only after those distinctions are made.
Read across scales
Each scale is an agent in its own right
The question changes from “What intervention normally works for this type of problem?” to “What is this problem, where does it sit, and what else must permit the intervention to hold?”
Diagnosis precedes design
The reading is tested first
The right problem, at the right scale, at the right moment, with the people who can act on it. When evidence shows the diagnosis is wrong, the move is not to defend the intervention: step back, re-read, re-diagnose — and decide again.
Not another toolkit
Its function is architectural
HFSAI is not a larger collection of models. It determines what kind of problem is being examined, how its parts relate, at which scale it exists, and what an intervention must respect before action is justified.
For whom
Those who decide whether, where and on what to intervene.
Executive leaders, internal development functions, facilitators, advisors and practitioners whose work requires them to decide not merely how to intervene, but whether, where and on what.
The public site describes what the architecture establishes. The full methodology, proprietary instruments and application protocols are shared at the appropriate depth, under the appropriate conditions.
From diagnosis to results
Do not begin by asking which tool to use.
Begin by asking whether you are looking at the right problem.
