LSP-16 is the earlier listening-style measure using people-, content-, action-, and time-oriented labels. Later psychometric concerns prompted reconstruction into LSP-R. The names and findings require historical version identification, since the older instrument is not interchangeable with the revised four-orientation scale or a direct measure of listening performance.
