I–Thou / Dialogic Philosophy

Knowledge

Buber’s I–Thou and I–It distinguish encounter with a unique presence from necessary categorization and use. Ethical difficulty arises when categories exhaust the person. Dialogue preserves openness and responsibility without requiring agreement or permanent intimacy, and the philosophy should not be presented as a validated conversational technique.
