Cues to action (Health Belief Model)

Knowledge

Cues to action are triggers, such as symptoms, reminders, recommendations, media messages, or a clinician’s prompt, that move people toward a health behavior. They do not necessarily turn favorable beliefs into action, and a prompt differs from changes that make a service accessible.
