Interactive Complexity

Knowledge

Interactive complexity concerns unexpected or poorly understood interactions among system elements. It can make familiar local signals misleading when failures combine. Analysis follows dependencies and feedback rather than counting components, and asks whether participants could recognize the interaction before tightly coupled processes carry it further.
