Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Knowledge

CEFR describes communicative proficiency through levels, activities, and performance descriptors. Use it to specify actual communication demands and examine the evidence behind a level claim. A shared label does not make tests equivalent or replace a profile of the abilities relevant to a particular task.
