Betweenness centrality

Knowledge

Betweenness centrality is a network measure estimating how often an actor lies on the shortest paths connecting other actors. High betweenness can reflect integration, a bottleneck, or choices about where the network boundary was drawn, and it does not by itself establish an actor’s communication value.
