Observe before you decode
Kinesics disciplines nonverbal analysis by treating movement as patterned interaction in context rather than as a universal code of hidden states
Premise
Bodies participate in communication, but they do not provide a transparent subtitle track for private intent. People look, gesture, orient, change posture, coordinate movement, and organize space alongside speech and silence. Ray L. Birdwhistell developed kinesics to study those visible actions as patterned social behavior situated in interaction and culture.
The executive relevance is restraint as much as observation. A folded arm, gaze shift, smile, or change of posture can become useful evidence only through sequence, recurrence, co-occurring speech, relationship, setting, and plausible alternatives. Treating a single cue as proof of resistance, deception, confidence, or emotion reverses the method.

Model
In this series, Model names the editorial family primarily used to understand and explain communication: theories, frameworks, effects, traditions, principles and other conceptual resources. It is an umbrella for a route into the field, not a claim that every included object is a predictive model.

Analytical Frameworks, Typologies & Heuristics
Organizes dimensions, distinctions, types or questions so that a situation can be examined systematically. A framework supplies structure, a typology distinguishes forms, and a heuristic offers a usable way to orient judgment.
