Communication Patterns Questionnaire (CPQ)

Knowledge

The CPQ measures reported couple-conflict patterns through likelihood ratings and documented subscale scoring. Constructive communication and both demand–withdraw directions require separate interpretation, preserved partner perspectives, and corrected version control. Scores identify patterns for inquiry without assigning blame, diagnosing safety, or validating transfer of the questionnaire into workplace assessment.
