Health barazas adapt community assembly for inquiry into health experiences and programs. A Kenyan study used seven meetings to elicit local perspectives on AMPATH and HIV/AIDS. The approach depends on facilitation and openness to community concerns, without automatically producing representative or universally candid evidence.
